Sgt Eckert's mom here.  I thought you would enjoy this picture of Lee recently taken in Iwakuni right before a live bomb run.  He may shoot me but this Mom does wear combat boots!! I am not to worried about it!

I thought it exemplified the true character of our Marine's and the prayers that go forth for you and your guys daily!  Check out the shadow of Lee in the picture!  Comment about the pic...I always knew it was true!!

Many congratulations on your Promotion to Major.  Your War Skills, Vision and Leadership are severely needed in this Country.  Above all else~ those Guys you led are all incredibly blessed by the genuine friendship you offered.  That level of caliber is an extremely rare find these days. I appreciate who you have been in my sons life!! May you and yours find much favor, peace and great abundance in Our Lord and Savior this coming season!!
